Categories

Categories group your products, such as Clothing › T-shirts, so your catalog is easy to manage. On a product page, your store suggests other products from the same category. Go to Products › Categories.

Add a category

1. Choose New category.
2. Enter a Name.
3. Pick a Parent to make it a sub-category, or leave it as None (top level).
4. Choose Create category.

Any category can be a parent, so you can nest as deep as you need. Expand a category in the list to see its sub-categories.

Put products in categories

Open a product and pick its Categories on the General tab. A product can be in several.

Edit or delete

Edit category lets you rename it or move it under another parent. When you Delete category, its sub-categories move up to its parent. Products in it stay in your catalog.
