Organization information

Your organization is your business on Gerai Digital. Its details, team, payments, shipping and settlements live in Settings, which opens on Information.

Company information​

Your registered business details: company name, company type, registration number, owner and address. They're used to verify your business, so they must match your SSM registration, or your MyKad if you sell as an individual.

The status at the top shows where verification stands:

  • Verified: your organization is verified.
  • In review: we're checking your details and documents.
  • Rejected: something didn't match. Correct it and submit again.

Shown in the organization switcher in your dashboard, so you and your team can tell your organizations apart. Choose Set logo and upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2 MB.

Each store has its own logo too, set on the store's page.

Closing your organization​

Closing stops using Gerai Digital for this organization. It's at the bottom of Information, under Danger Zone, and only owners can do it.

Before you can close it:

  • complete or cancel your open orders;
  • wait for any payout already on its way, and for sales still waiting on their orders;
  • pay out your balance. This final payout can be below the usual RM 50 minimum;
  • or, if you owe Gerai Digital, top up to clear it.

When you close it:

  • all its stores go offline straight away, and nobody on the team can work in it;
  • a paid plan stops renewing. Fees already paid aren't refunded;
  • every owner gets a confirmation code by email first, and is told when it's closed.

Changed your mind? Any owner can reopen it within 90 days. After that, its stores, products, customers, team, settings and verification documents are deleted for good, and its store addresses become free for others to use. Orders, invoices, payments and payouts are kept for 7 years, as tax rules require.
