Verify your business
Before your stores can go live, Gerai Digital checks that your business is genuine. Our team reviews your details and documents by hand.
You need to be an owner of the organization to do this.
What you need
- SSM document (for registered businesses): your company registration certificate, or the business registration form issued by SSM.
- Owner identification: the owner's MyKad (front and back) or passport. Up to 4 files.
Files can be PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 10 MB each.
You don't need an SSM registration. Choose Individual (MyKad) as the company type, use your full name as in your MyKad as the company name, and your MyKad number as the registration number. You only need to upload your identification.
Send your details
- In your dashboard, go to Settings and find Company information.
- If you're a registered business, upload your SSM document. Choose Extract now to fill in the details from it automatically, then check them against the document.
- Fill in or check the rest: company name, company type, registration number, owner name, owner MyKad number and address.
- Upload the owner's identification under Owner Identification.
- Save, then choose Submit for review.
We'll email you when your organization is verified.
Verification status
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending review | We're checking your details. |
| Validated | Your organization is verified. You can take your stores live. |
| Rejected | Something didn't match. Check the reason, correct your details and submit again. |
| Expired | Your verification needs renewing. Submit your details again. |
Changing your details later
If you change your company details or documents after you're verified, your organization goes back into review. Your live stores stay online while we check the changes. Stores only go offline if verification is rejected or expires.
